CFD
What is CFD?
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is the branch of continuum mechanics which deals with heat transfer, mass transfer and momentum transfer associated with fluid.
Exist technique are more difficult and complex to be measure by experimental with more limitation, such as,
- Scale Limitation (full scale ship, aeroplane)
- Hazards (explosion, radiation, pollution)
- Physics Limitation (weather prediction, flow visualisation)
Advantages of CFD :
- CFD allows to simulate your product instead of “build & test”
- More cost effective and more rapid with experiments
- CFD solution provides high-fidelity database for interrogation of flow field
