Data Centre is a building that contains a group of networked computer servers, electronic panels, battery setups, typically used by organizations to remotely store, process or distribute large amounts of data.
The power supplying batteries, servers are typically held in racks which tend to have a large capacity distribute over the connected network
At present, computer technology are putting a large strain on the cost of running these data centers and hence power systems. There are combined concerns between ensuring the data halls are low cost and energy efficient, alongside increased demand for larger server densities and more powerful power systems. This is leaving many of the most used, and trusted, methods of cooling methods for the power room unable to meet the demands now required of them.
With the help of advance CFD technology, it is possible to evaluate and visualize the cooling system design at the engineering stage of a data center and power room.
